　　对，但是不全对。因为这两个词组，在英文里还是有细微区别的。

　　‍♀️‍♂️在强调3个人中的每一个人时，就用 three persons，这个时候的重点，就是在哪3个人。

　　‍‍如果说是强调3个人是一个整体，就用people。

　　01.

　　three persons 三个人

　　three people 三个人

　　讲解：person 在词典中的解释是这样的，a human being, especially considered as someone with their own particular character, person 强调的是个体，尤其是指单个某个人，有指定性，可以泛指 man, woman 或 child 中的任何一个。

　　people, used as the plural of ‘person’ to refer to men, women, and children. 就是说 people 可以用来表示 person 的复数形式，强调的是群体，指的是一群人的意思。three persons 和 three people 表达都没有问题，主要看在语境中强调的对象。

　　例句1：Hethree personsoften play badminton after school.

　　他们三个人放学后经常一起打羽毛球。

　　例句2：It killed at leastthree peopleand also injured three firefighters.

　　事故造成至少3人死亡，3名消防员受伤。

　　third person 第三人称

　　讲解：It shows that someone is speaking or writing about another person, and to simplify this, it tells a story using the pronouns "he" or "she", 也就是说 third person 是第三人称的意思。

　　例句：The novel alternates between athird-personnarrative and notes taken from a court case.

　　这本小说在第三人称叙事和法庭案件笔记之间交替进行。

　　mistress /ˈmɪstrɪs/

　　n. 第三者，情妇

　　home wrecker

　　/ˈrekər/ 破坏家庭的人

　　the other man 第三者

　　the other woman 第三者

　　讲解：mistress, it refers to a woman that a man has a sexual relationship with, even though he is married to someone else. 也就是情妇，第三者的意思，指的是女性出轨者。home wrecker, 没有性别的区分，wrecker means someone who deliberately destroys something, home wrecker 就是说的破坏家庭的人。第三者其实就是说的婚姻或者恋情中两个人之外的另一个人，所以 third person 不对，但是可以使用 the other man, the other woman.

　　例句：In my opinion, it is immoral to become ahome-wrecker.

　　我觉得，破坏别人家庭的人很不道德。

　　morning person 早起的人

　　night person 夜猫子

　　讲解：It means someone who feels awake and full of energy in the mornings, 也就是指的早起的人。与 morning person 对应的就是 night person, 表示夜猫子的意思。

　　例句1：You are now a totalmorning person.

　　你现在完全就是早起的人了。

　　例句2：I have always been amorning person, I think I work more efficient that way.

　　我一直都早起，我觉得我早起工作更有效率。

　　例句3：I used to be anight persontoo, I just think I can be so much more productive when there's no one else awake.

　　我一直都是个夜猫子。我只是觉得，当没有人醒着的时候，我可以更有效率。

　　last minute person

　　有拖延症的人

　　讲解：A last-minute action is one that is done at the latest time possible, 就是说 last-minute 的行为就是在尽可能晚的时间完成某事，那 last minute person 可理解为临时抱佛脚的人，有拖延症的人，不到某个时间绝对不做那件事情的人。

　　例句：She's a typicallast-minute person, she doesn't finish her work until the last minute.

　　她是个典型的拖延症患者，直到最后一分钟才能完成工作。

　　little people 精灵；小人物

　　讲解：It means small imaginary creatures, such as leprechauns, that look like small mans, and it also refers to all the people in a country organization who have no power, little people 不能按咱们字面意思来说很少的人，它的两个意思，一个是指小精灵，另外一个意思是小人物。

　　例句1：Last night, I had a dream about thelittle peopleof fairy tales.

　　我昨晚梦见了童话故事里的小精灵。

　　例句2：When it comes to the selection of president, we need someone that's fighting for thelittle people.

　　当涉及到总统的选择时，我们需要一个能够站出来为小人物说话的人。

　　好久不见大家，我是呆。

　　讲实话我已经在早安工作很久了，久到我一说出年限，就会暴露年龄的程度。本来我也不在意这些，刚来早安的时候，我一度且很长时间是早安最小的。

　　但是最近发现，身边的同事几乎都是00后了。怎么发现的呢？因为隔壁桌的编辑心心，有时候真的会把网上聊天发的语气词说出来，比如，她偶尔在办公室假哭：呜呜呜，你竟然……大家请注意，她是真的会发出wuwuwu的声音。
